Every administration has people who receive the spotlight and people who quietly keep the work moving. Sometimes history remembers the speeches, but forgets the long nights, the endless flights, the time away from family, and the personal sacrifices that come with public service.
Behind every public official is a family making sacrifices that cameras rarely show. Birthdays missed. Holidays delayed. Time with loved ones replaced by duty. Those moments matter, even if they never become headlines.
President Trump has publicly praised JD Vance on multiple occasions and spoken highly of his future. Yet when people talk about this administration, many mention only one name, as if no one else is helping carry the weight.
This isn’t about taking credit away from President Trump. It’s about giving credit where it’s due. Recognizing one leader doesn’t require ignoring another. Appreciation is not a limited resource.
